POS software fuel module enhancement

To start the New Year off, we are going to start looking at enhancing the fuel module. There are several clients who are requesting similar features, and we feel that these are important. Here is a list of the new features that we will start implementing:

• Prepayments – This feature will allow the user to allocate a prepayment to a pump.
• Rearranging the sale screen fuel control – There have been several suggestions how we can make this better.
• Dynamic payment types – Rather than using the old hardcoded payment types, we will make these dynamic so that the user can create new ones.
• Discount per – A new way to create a discount per litre.
• Prevent fuel reversals – Many places do not want to allow reverse sales when the item sold is a fuel product.
• Enhance fuel reports for shifts – Make the fuel reports be more shift based.
• New multibuy screen – Many rules can be created through the pricing wizard. However, there are some common patterns that people are requesting that they would like to make easier to enter.

These features will start being worked on now. However, they will start appearing in the system within the next couple of versions.
