POS system fuel pump control
One of the fuel point of sale changes that we will be making to our POS software is changing how we interact with the fuel interface. Firstly, the old ‘manage pumps screen’ will most likely be completely removed. There is just one client who uses it, and unless they have major objections, we will be getting rid of this screen from the POS interface.
As well as this, we will be rewriting the fuel pad on the sale screen within the POS system. This will be broken up into 2 controls:
• The pump display – Shows all the fuel pumps, and allows interaction with them
• The pump action modifiers – Shows all the buttons that modify the actions taken when a pump button is pressed.
A pump will represented by two buttons. There will be one for the pump itself, and another below it that represents stacked sales. If there is a stacked sale, then the button below it represents that stacked sale. However, if there is more than one stacked sale, then the button will open a control that shows all the stacked sales for that pump.
