New Stock Control Functionality

Another little blog about new functionality I’ve been working on. We have now given the Amicus (POS) stocktake dialog a bit of an overhaul. All existing functionality will be roughly the same though the layout of the screen will have changed somewhat, so please make yourselves familiar with it and pass the changes on to our clients who utilise the stock control functionality.

In addition to this, we have also implemented an enhancement on the stocktake dialog whereby a user can now update the Book Cost prices from the stocktake dialog. This new dialog allows the user to step through the stocktake item products and view/edit their site based cost prices. This will be of great assistance to our Point Of Sale (POS) Customers (particularly the Supermarket and General Retail customers).

To access the new dialog from Amicus, open the Stocktake dialog and click the Update Book Costs button located at the lower middle area of the dialog. Please note that the button only becomes enabled when a stocktake has items and has not been submitted.
