Neotechnology Business Systems raised $2120.80 for the people of Haiti!

We would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who helped make the Haiti Fundraiser BBQ and raffle a huge success.

Just over a week ago on Friday 22 January, NBS held a fundraising BBQ and raffle to raise money for the Red Cross Haiti Appeal. The raffle was drawn on Friday 29 January. Winners have been notified and can collect their prizes from Neotechnology. The total amount raised for both the BBQ and the raffle was $2120.80!

Neotechnology to host Haiti fundraising BBQ.

This Friday 22nd of January Neotechnology Business Systems will be hosting a fundraising barbeque at Tasmanian Technopark to help raise funds in support of the recent Haiti earthquake.

The barbeque will be located on the grass opposite the Technopark reception between 12 and 2 pm, every one is welcome and encouraged to attend. Sausages and soft drinks will be $2 each with all proceeds being donated to The Australian Red Cross Haiti Earthquake Appeal.

Neotechnology has expanded their sales and marketing team to include Matthew Wertheimer, a graduate marketing officer hired through the K2B program. Matthew will be keeping in regular contact with our growing customer base to ensure the satisfaction of both the Amicus POS customers and NBS Support customers.

K2B is a training program designed to cultivate the marketing knowledge and expertise in the Tasmanian ICT industry. K2B’s primary objective is to increase the understanding of the importance that marketing plays in growing a Tasmanian ICT business and to give participating companies the tools and knowledge so this can be done in house. Once again the year has flown by and its time to enjoy the festive season and celebrate the end of 2009 and begin to prepare for 2010. We here at Neotechnology hope the last 12 months have been prosperous and wish you all the best for the Festive Season and the New Year.

Over the break the Neotechnology offices will be closed on the 25th of December and reopening on the 4th of January. During that time our support services will be on call and charged at public holiday rates for the entire period.
